KERALA STATE RUTRONIX
KERALA STATE RUTRONIX was set up by the Govt. of Kerala, in 1990 as the apex body of 18 Rural Women's Electronics Industrial Cooperative Societies in the State. It manufactured and supplied much acclaimed and well known products like Keltron TVs, Kamal Radios, ONIDA TVs and Pamba Electronic chokes to their respective brand name holders. Computers, UPS, EPABX system, CF lamps, Solar Electric Devices, Electronic Calculators and VCDs are some other products of RUTRONIX. Its software division named "Govern-IT" has implemented several software projects for a number of public sector organizations under the Govt. of India and the State Government, as wellas for international agencies like the W.H.O. As part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the formation of Kerala State in 2006, RUTRONIX had launched an ambitious programme to provide "Employment Oriented Computer Training at Affordable Cost to All". The objective was to empower the youth of Kerala with education & skill development in modern mainstream technologies. Since then, RUTRONIX has been providing several Govt. Recognized 'IT based Education & Certification' courses in Software, Multimedia & Computer Hardware/Network courses with focus on Employability development.
